About Me

My photo
My husband, Tim, calls me a Domestic Goddess. I retired from the world of Hairdressing to this new position of stay at home mom to my four dogs, gardener, housewife, and part time artist, and now a blogger. Should be interesting.

We Love our Cats

My Cat family. Tim saw a great need to rescue feral cats at the plant where he works. He set friendly traps with yummy tuna fish. These traps where checked every day, total number was around 12 large cats trapped. We had two escape, and that was an adventure. yee haw!

My job was to transport the cats to and from the vet for surgery and vaccines.
Tim turned our storage building into a after surgery recovery house.  My husband loves to invent, so he installed a web cam, and a temperature controlled heater, water, food, and large litter pan.  Wouldn't you want to stay? well cats are escape artist.  Needless to say Here kitty kitty, lol.   the purpose to rehabilitate and release, the release came sooner for some. Lovey Whiskars, picture above is our blind kitty.  She is a tough cookie.

This is the rest of our cat herd, Lucy, Patch, Jesse, and Leo.  You would never know my kitties where hissers, spitters, slappers, bitters, and covered in ringworm  at first.  I had to use heavy duty gloves to handle them.  They are healthy, happy and so sweet.

Planting a new field

Wow, it's taken me a long time to find this spot.  The weeds grew into a vine and made a fence, lol.  The fence being me not using my site since last year.

There are so many things to see and follow, with that said I'll update.  My chores are calling my name out loud.  So I'm off to work.  I have many things to post so stay tuned.
